On the night of June 29, 2025, Rayondre Johnson, 29, was found unresponsive in the front yard of a home along the 3300 block of Cypress Avenue on Kansas City's East Side. Officers were dispatched just before 10 p.m.; despite aid rendered at the scene, he was pronounced dead.
