On a Saturday afternoon, the life of 28-year-old Darrell Sanders of Newark, a male, was cut short in a fatal shooting in Linden, New Jersey. The incident occurred around 3:26 p.m. on September 27th in the 3100 block of Irene Street. Responding to reports of gunfire, Linden police officers discovered Sanders at the scene suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, but his injury proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
