Jose Williams, age 50, a Black/African American man, was shot on the morning of August 8, 2025, at the intersection of North Kingshighway Boulevard and St. Louis Avenue in the city's Kingsway East neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Officers responding just after 9 a.m. found Jose Williams, age 50, on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds; he was taken by EMS to a hospital, where Jose Williams, age 50, died from his injuries.
