Eric Louis, 49, a male from St. Louis, was shot on the night of August 15, 2025, on the 4400 block of Garfield Avenue in The Ville neighborhood. Officers arrived just after 9 p.m. and found Eric Louis with a gunshot wound to his stomach; he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died a short time later.
