Herbert Nelson, age 70, was discovered dead on August 20, 2025, inside his home in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was found in the 5800 block of Pershing, in the Debaliviere Place neighborhood, shot to death and pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 6 p.m. Detectives quickly treated the case as a homicide and suspected domestic motives early in the investigation.
