In the early morning hours of August 24, 2025, tragedy struck in the Greater Ville neighborhood of St. Louis. Wilbert Rodgers III, a 38-year-old man from Wellston, was found on the sidewalk in the 2700 block of Marcus Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound.
