Kevontae Washington, 23, a Black/African American male, was found shot inside a vehicle in the predawn hours of August 7, 2025, in the 10000 block of Sheffingdell Court in unincorporated north St. Louis County near Dellwood. Officers were dispatched around 3:29–3:30 a.m. and pronounced Kevontae Washington, 23, male, dead at the scene after discovering him with gunshot wounds; the location corresponds to the Woodlands Apartments complex along Sheffingdell Court.
