In the late summer of 2025, the comedy world was rocked by the tragic death of Reginald 'Reggie' Carroll, a 52-year-old male comedian. On the evening of August 20th, police in Southaven, Mississippi, responded to a call about a shooting on Burton Lane. Upon arrival, they discovered Carroll critically wounded from multiple gunshots. Emergency medical personnel administered life-saving aid before rushing him to a hospital in nearby Memphis, Tennessee, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
