The case of Jair Valencia, a 7-month-old baby from Southaven, Mississippi, remains an unsolved mystery. On the night of March 31, 2007, Southaven police responded to reports of gunfire at the Bradford Park Apartments. Upon arrival, they discovered Jair and his family had been caught in a tragic shooting. Jair was shot in the upper torso while inside the family’s apartment, and despite medical efforts, the infant succumbed to his injuries.
