Marion Griffin, 27, a Black man, was struck by gunfire after a late-night argument spilled into the street on Longridge Avenue in Baton Rouge. Police were called around 2:16 a.m. to the 11000 block, where they learned two people had been arguing when a shot was fired. He was rushed to a local hospital but could not be saved.
