A promising young life was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi, when 17-year-old Saleh Ghasan Omar Humaid was shot and killed on September 19, 2025. A student at Germantown High School, Saleh was reportedly playing soccer with his cousin near Sunnyvale Drive when they were confronted by individuals attempting to rob them.
