Rochelle Lewis, 48, a Black woman from Haynesville, Louisiana, was found shot multiple times at a home on Spring Drive on July 1, 2025. Police said she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators quickly identified her husband, 44-year-old Shamarcus Lewis of Shreveport, as the suspect and issued an alert for his vehicle headed south on U.S. Highway 79.
