Skeletonized remains are discovered off Mira Loma road
On April 23, 1979, the skeletonized remains of 41-year-old Janie Brown were discovered in a ravine off Mira Loma Road, just south of Reno, Nevada. Brown had been missing since May 22, 1978, when she was last seen at the Holiday Casino in Reno. Originally from Pittsburg, California, Brown was visiting Reno when she disappeared.
