In the late afternoon heat of July 9, 2025, 34-year-old Armand Williams, a man from New Orleans, was shot multiple times in New Orleans East. Officers were first called to the 9500 block of Hayne Boulevard around 4:17 p.m., then traced the scene to the 8000 block of Trapier Avenue in the Little Woods neighborhood. The adult male victim—Armand Williams—was rushed by EMS to a local hospital, where he died later that evening.
