Pierre Lavelle Moore, 20, a Black/African American man, was shot to death late on May 13, 2025, in Chicago's University Village on the Near West Side. Chicago police said a dark SUV pulled up in the 1000 block of West 14th Street around 11:25 p.m., five assailants got out and opened fire, striking Pierre Lavelle Moore multiple times before fleeing in the vehicle.
