An argument on a Friday evening in Logan County, West Virginia, took a violent turn, forever altering a family. On February 17, 2017, in a home on Thunder Road near Chapmanville, a dispute between two brothers escalated, culminating in a burst of gunfire. Seventy-seven-year-old Charles Kinney, a White male, found himself the victim of a shotgun blast delivered at close range.
