Tayvion Roberson, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 22, 2017, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the Marquette Park neighborhood, where Tayvion and another man were standing in the 7100 block of South Artesian Avenue around 9:40 p.m. A man approached them and opened fire, hitting Tayvion in the back and chest.
