Charlotte Love, age 23, a Black woman from Glenwood, was found shot alongside 37-year-old Kash Wakefield after police were called to a home in the 600 block of Holbrook Road on the night of Tuesday, May 13, 2025. According to Glenwood police and the Cook County medical examiner, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, while Charlotte Love, age 23, was rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where she later died.
