Jermon Bonner, 33, a male from Bastrop, was found just after midnight on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Eden Apartments with gunshot wounds. Officers with the Bastrop Police Department responded to the scene in the early morning hours, where Bonner was located and later pronounced dead.
