Deon Damien Thomas, 31, a Black/African American man from Washington, D.C., was shot and killed on the evening of July 12, 2025, in Oxon Hill, Maryland. At about 8:20 p.m., officers responded to the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway and found Deon Damien Thomas, 31, outside with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
