On a summer evening in Baltimore, the life of Kayla Williams, a 30-year-old Black woman and mother of three, was tragically cut short. On July 22, 2025, at approximately 11:26 p.m., police were called to the 1100 block of Mt. Holly Street in the Edmondson Village neighborhood. There, they found Kayla Williams suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
