A sense of holiday celebration was tragically cut short in the early morning hours of July 4, 2020, in Baltimore, Maryland, when 35-year-old Shana Lloyd was killed in a shooting. The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. in the 100 block of South Monroe Street, a time when the city was still enveloped in the darkness of the pre-dawn hours. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered two individuals who had been shot.
