In the spring of 2025, a fatal shooting cut short the life of 40-year-old Daniel Erbo Bodie, a male resident of the Atlanta area. The incident unfolded on the evening of May 10th at the Camelot Condominiums, a complex located on Camelot Drive in South Fulton. This particular condominium complex had been the focus of increased police presence in the months leading up to the shooting due to ongoing safety concerns.
South Fulton Police officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately
7:19 p.m. following reports of a person being shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered Daniel Bodie suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of emergency medical crews who were also present, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, investigators began working to piece together the events that led to Bodie's death. As of the following day, no arrests had been made in connection with the homicide.
