Johnnie Jackson Jr., 18, male, Black/African American, was driving a Chevrolet along the 2800 block of East 93rd Street in Chicago’s Calumet Heights neighborhood on the afternoon of June 17, 2025, when gunfire struck him from behind. His vehicle collided with another car and then crashed into a house. First responders found him inside with a gunshot wound to his back and rushed him to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
