Junior Bowen, 36, a Black male, was shot to death late on May 28, 2025, at an apartment complex on the 2900 block of Springdale Road SW in southwest Atlanta. Just after 11 p.m., neighbors reported gunfire; officers arrived to find Bowen on a patio with multiple gunshot wounds and medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
