Larrisa NaDawn Davis, a 37-year-old Caucasian woman from Princeton, Indiana, was remembered as a kind-hearted and joyful person who cherished her family, especially her daughter. A substitute teacher for the North Gibson School Corporation and an employee at the Gibson County Fairgrounds, Larrisa was known for always having a smile on her face. Her life was tragically cut short on the morning of May 13, 2025.
On that Tuesday morning, officers with the Princeton Police Department
responded to a 911 call about a woman found inside a vehicle at the Baldwin Heights apartment complex. The caller reported that the person in the passenger seat of the car had blood on them and was not moving. Arriving at the scene on Garfield Avenue, authorities discovered Larrisa Davis deceased inside the vehicle. The investigation into her death was immediately treated as a homicide. An autopsy was scheduled to determine the official cause of death.
Within hours of the discovery, law enforcement identified a person of interest, Richard Ingle Jr., and issued a 'Be On The Lookout' alert for him. Investigators believed he was connected to Larrisa's death. Using surveillance systems, police were able to track Ingle's vehicle to Sullivan County, Indiana.
The search for the suspect ended when authorities in Sullivan County located his vehicle and found a deceased male inside. The man was later identified as Richard Ingle Jr., who had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. With the death of the primary suspect, authorities believe there are no other persons of interest in what appears to be a murder-suicide. The investigation was to be turned over to the coroner's office.
