In a tragic culmination of domestic strife, 29-year-old Tomika Pullins lost her life on June 13, 2025, in Decatur, Georgia. For months, she had been attempting to sever ties with her estranged husband, 48-year-old William Almond, a man whose threats had become a dark cloud over her family's life. Pullins' mother, Nakita Bruce, later recounted that Almond had explicitly threatened to kill everyone in the house if Tomika did not return to him.
