In the early afternoon of a Saturday in Wichita, Kansas, a disturbance shattered the peace of the 4100 block of West Pine. Just before 12:30 p.m. on June 21, 2025, police were called to the scene following reports of gunshots. Upon their arrival, they discovered that a young Black/African American man, 23-year-old Sauhni Stallings, had been shot. He was privately transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
