David DeJesus Lira-Mojica, 23, Hispanic male, was shot on the evening of July 4, 2025, at Eagle Creek Park on Indianapolis' northwest side. Police and park rangers responded around 7:30 p.m. to the area near the water off Lafayette Road and Traders Lane, where they found two adult men with gunshot wounds along the shoreline.
