Tracy Collins, a 62-year-old Black man, was shot and killed in Wichita, Kansas, on the afternoon of Sunday, September 7, 2025. The incident occurred in the front yard of his home in the 700 block of North Piatt. Wichita police officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 3:53 p.m. and found Collins with a gunshot wound to his chest.
