In the summer of 2000, a concerned neighbor's discovery shattered the peace of a quiet Las Vegas neighborhood. On Friday, July 21, the body of Leo Spiegler, a 77-year-old Caucasian male, was found inside his home in the 2200 block of Goldhill Way, near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Vegas Drive. The grim finding was made after a neighbor noticed Spiegler's door was open around 4 p.m. and, after receiving no answer to their calls, alerted the authorities.
