In a quiet area of Owen County, Indiana, the afternoon of August 9, 2025, was shattered by a tragic act of violence that claimed the lives of two men. 61-year-old Jeffrey David Fauber, a male resident of Quincy, and his 41-year-old nephew, Grantham Adam Chandler, were found deceased from gunshot wounds in the driveway of a home on Truesdel Road, north of Spencer. The discovery was made by an Owen County sheriff's deputy who was responding to a report of a gunshot victim around 3:42 p.m.
