Malik Sims, a 23-year-old man from Bloomington, Indiana, was found dead on July 15, 2024, in rural Owen County. His body was discovered along Stephenson Road by a passerby. An autopsy revealed that Sims died from a single gunshot wound to the head, indicating that he was a victim of gun violence.
