A road rage incident turns deadly
Bryan E. Haltom, aged 19, was tragically killed on July 17, 1996, in Spencer, Indiana. Haltom and his friend Trevor Powell were traveling northbound on US 231 in Haltom's Pontiac Trans AM when they got involved in a rolling verbal altercation with another motorist. The unknown vehicle, described as a small dark red or maroon import, eventually stopped behind Haltom's car after both vehicles pulled over.
