Nicole Mabon-Brewer, age 47, a female who was Black / African American, was found dead just before midday on September 3, 2025, inside a home in the 2300 block of 20th Place on Gary’s southwest side. Officers responding around 11:25 a.m. discovered the body of Nicole Mabon-Brewer and began a death investigation that would soon draw in county and state authorities.
