Stephen Bailey, 28, a male from Decatur, Georgia, was found shot on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in the Candler/McAfee area off Candler Road. Officers with the DeKalb County Police Department responded to a home along the 2400 block of Brentwood Court, where medics pronounced Stephen Bailey dead at the scene. The following morning, authorities publicly identified the victim as Stephen Bailey, age 28.
