In a quiet neighborhood in Decatur, Georgia, the promise of a new year and a new life was tragically cut short. On the morning of December 14, 2024, 23-year-old Leviticus Burns was found shot to death inside a home on Brandberry Drive. He was not the only victim of the violence that erupted during a gathering at the residence. His best friend, a 21-year-old man, was also shot. The friend was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
