Michelle Booker-Stewart, 51, a Black woman, was found fatally wounded at her home in San Diego’s Oak Park neighborhood on the morning of July 26, 2025. Police were called at approximately 9:47 a.m. to the 5500 block of Timothy Drive for a report of a domestic-violence shooting. Officers and San Diego Fire-Rescue personnel attempted lifesaving measures after finding her with a gunshot wound to the upper torso, but she died at the scene.
