She had left her residence early that morning to visit the Family Fitness Center on Miramar Road. Her husband departed shortly after, leaving their 18-year-old daughter, Amber Clark, still in bed. Around mid-morning, a neighbor overheard Amber speaking with someone inside the home, followed by a male voice.
Amber cried out, but the disturbance did not escalate further, leaving the neighbor unaware of the impending tragedy.
Pamela returned home around 11:00 AM, but later failed to show up for work. Concerned, a colleague visited her residence and discovered Pamela’s lifeless body in the entryway. She was found nude, with her arms spread at 90-degree angles to her body, having suffered eleven deep stab wounds to her upper left chest. Blood trails indicated she had been attacked elsewhere and dragged to that location. Near her head lay a bloody knife. Police arriving at the scene soon discovered Amber’s body in a bedroom. Though clothed, her breasts had been exposed, and she had also suffered eleven deep stab wounds to her upper chest. Blood from her wounds had been smeared onto her torso, suggesting she had been killed first. Another knife was found on the bathroom floor.
Investigators determined that the perpetrator had entered the home by removing a screen from a dining room window. Marks on the sliding door suggested an attempted forced entry. Male athletic shoe prints were found beneath the dining room window. Pamela’s wedding ring was missing, and money had been taken from her purse, though robbery did not appear to be the primary motive.

Cleophus Prince Jr., an African American man, was identified as the suspect responsible for their deaths, along with four other murders. Prince had a pattern of targeting women, often following them home from fitness centers before attacking them in their residences.
