In the quiet town of Lumber City, Georgia, a grim discovery was made on the evening of August 18, 2025. A relative found 42-year-old Dwayne Clark deceased inside his home on Church Street, prompting a 911 call at approximately 8:53 p.m. When officers from the Lumber City Police Department arrived, they found that Clark had been shot multiple times.
The nature of his death led the local authorities to request the assistance of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to lead the homicide investigation.
