On December 23, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in the Ellenwood neighborhood of DeKalb County, Georgia. The incident took place in the front yard of a home in the 4400 block of Parmalee Path. When police responded to the call, they found 44-year-old Herold Francois dead at the scene.
