Roderick Crowley, a 48-year-old Black/African American man, was fatally shot late on the morning of June 19, 2025, in the Ellenwood community of DeKalb County. Officers were called to the 4100 block of Loveless Drive, just off Bouldercrest Road, where they found him mortally wounded; he died from his injuries at the scene.
