On a Thursday evening in Riverdale, Georgia, October 15, 2020, 13-year-old Hispanic male Brayan Zavala was in his front yard with his father and older brother, Jesus. The family was working on a lawnmower when a dark-colored Chevrolet HHR drove past their home, turned around, and stopped. A man wearing a ski mask and armed with a shotgun exited the vehicle and approached the family.
