On a quiet Friday morning in Forsyth, Georgia, the stillness was broken by a 911 call that would unravel a tragedy. On January 5, 2024, police responded to the call and discovered the body of 21-year-old Rashid Khalid Ivey, a male from the nearby city of Macon, inside a residence. He had been fatally wounded by a gunshot.
