Death by Force

Shinobi Pitts, 17, a Black/African American male from Savannah, Georgia, was fatally shot on the evening of August 21, 2025, in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Police were dispatched around 7:30 p.m. following ShotSpotter alerts and found Shinobi Pitts on the ground with gunshot wounds; officers rendered aid until EMS transported him to Memorial Health University Medical Center, where he died.
