Kayvon Dunbar, a 15-year-old Black male from Bradenton, was shot and killed late on August 25, 2025, after a planned robbery spiraled into gunfire on the 400 block of 11th Avenue East. Officers arrived around 11:30 p.m. to find him mortally wounded outside a home.
