Deputies from the Kern County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a man with a gunshot wound and found Adrian Anthony Montiel, 38, at the scene.
He was rushed to Kern Medical, where he was pronounced dead at 12:21 a.m. on August 16, 2025.
