On December 14, 1987, Marcia Piotter, a 36-year-old resident of Akron, Ohio, was found murdered. Marcia was last seen leaving the Bingo Hall at St. Martha's Church on Tallmadge Avenue in Akron. After she was reported missing, her car was located at the rear of 58 North Pershing Avenue on December 15, 1987. Inside her vehicle, Marcia was found dead, having sustained multiple stab wounds.
