In the quiet neighborhood of Bear Valley in southwest Denver, the night of September 5, 2025, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of Heather Fong, a 44-year-old Asian woman. Responding to a call just before midnight, police arrived at the 2700 block of South Fenton Street to find a grim scene unfolding. Heather had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital, but her injuries proved fatal.
