An aspiring female rapper is gunned down in east Denver
Rachel Aboytes, also known as "La Baby Smiley," was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on March 24, 2015, in Denver, Colorado. At just 21 years old, Rachel was an aspiring rapper who had begun to gain local recognition for her music. On the night of the incident, she was walking with a friend near East 16th Avenue and North Valentia Street when a vehicle approached, and someone inside opened fire.
